Hi folks,
You'll either roll your eyes in an 'Oh God Not Another One' or nod your head in an 'That's Me' way.....am sure more of the former than the latter.
So here goes it - biker in the old days way-back-when, then cars, family...more recently....and now turning 50 so am having my mid-life crisis cure, which being honest I started hankering after 20yrs ago.
Am buying my first ever trike and am looking for advice on where to go for insurance, advice on headgear....I don't want to wear a helmet but flying bits of concrete from our many potholes puts me off a bit....how do you keep it safe overnight when travelling....short of sleeping on it.....so many question but am determined to have a bit of fun on the thing as soon as possible.
Can anyone point me in the right direction....except the door :-) ....to give me a heads up - hoping to pick the thing up at the weekend so need to get the insurance sorted quick! Cheers to all and looking forward to joining in on a few meets over the summer.....any and all help gratefully received!

Hi sapper hope your well what sort of trike did you go for ? Insurance company's .majority of trike insurance company's are underwritten by bikesure so might as well go direct there's also twhittelsey (wis Ltd) and CarolNash As for headgear theres no law about helmets so whatever you like I wear a glass fiber German helmet for bad weather there are all sorts of flying type helmets you can get it is really up to your personallity and style lol

Cheers for your time in replying and hope to catch u when I get a bit more time to post.
