Hi, are there any trikers in the Midlands? I live near Evesham and have just bought my very first trike (and I don't even have a beard! yet). Would be good to find local trikers to meet up. Thanks Tim

@ Tim - Trike law changed a bit over the years, but last I read was you do not need a beard to ride one ;0) There is a guy that that I reckon lives in the Oxford/ High Wycombe area. I've seen it around a bit over the years and sure it is the same guy. I also saw it on the "fest" pics on this website a few weeks back. I call it the monster rat. .. front engined 4 seater I recall, wicked stuff!
@ Kevgreen36 - what sort of finish help do you require ? I did my first trike in the early 80's and planned it for about 6 months (and still got some wrong) A minor rebuild got around some problems and it was fun for 10 years or so.
I'm in the mood to do another trike atm (front engined trike this time) although I may choose to run the engine to the rear, but I doubt it would look right. Choices choices. Later on that, I need to sign up proper first I guess, but feel free to ask q's

Thanks Tim I just stumbled across this site. I have a trike and live not far from you. Lower Brailes, near to Shipston on Stour.

Hi guys and gals. This is a very long shot. I am a biker along with many of my friends. We have a very close friend who has demencha. Yes ive spelt it wrong. She is a big fan of bikes, but has never ridden on one. We are arranging a meeting next Saturday in Hucknall and would love for some of your guys to possibaly take her on the back of a Trike, as she might be a bit nervous on a bike. She has watched bikes for years going up and down the road, and would love to have the chance to go on one. Also my wife has a terminal brain tumor. And is missing part of her skull, so is unabl;e to wear a helmet. She always used to ride with me, but not possible on a two wheeled bike. She would also love to go on a Trike and is wanting me to buy one. Would it please be possible for half a dozzen of your fabulous people to be able to help us out in making these two fantastic ladies very happy. We are just going for a short ride to make sure they are both happy on the bikes. Then if they want to go further, then we would like to maybe go to Matlock for a cuppa. I know this is short notice, but if any of you would like to come and make these wonderful ladies dreams come true, then please call me on 07912177404. Or meet us at the Wicker Basket Cafe on Watnall Road in Hucknall Nottinghamshire NG15 6EP at 9am on this Saturday. On the roundabout opposite the fire station. I know ive said it before, but it would make my wifes day and also make a very close friend very happy.
Kindest regards Mike Hart. Hope to see some of you there.
